is the Swarthmore Charity Fun-Fair?

Wawa Kickoff Parade from 1 to 2 pm on Park Avenue
(Yale to S.Chester)
The costume parade is part of this parade this
year! The charity Fun Booths start at 2 pm all
throughout the Swarthmore Town Center.
Theme:
Make Dreams Real
Everyone – public included – is encouraged
to come in costume and march in the parade. Meet
at Yale & Park Avenues at 12:45pm. |

What
is the Swarthmore Charity Fun-Fair?
A community event in the village of Swarthmore
that is fun for the attendees of all ages, is
rewarding for the charities and is worthwhile
for the sponsors and the merchants. At each booth
a fun, participatory event gets the public actively
involved, and there is a parade and 4 hours of
continuous entertainment on the three stages that
keeps everyone entertained – plus the food
court offers a wide variety of good fare. More... |

Charities
Last April, about 7,000 people came. Over $30,000
was raised by and for the almost 50 participating
charities. This year, over 100 charities will
be invited to have a booth. More... |

Prominent corporate firms can sponsor one of the
three stages, the parade or one of the other main

Fun-Walk & Run
There will be a 5K (3 mi.) fun walk and run,
criss-crossing the Borough and campus. More...

Student
Groups
Student organizations from Swarthmore College
and Wallingford-Swarthmore schools will be participating
with booths, entertainment and volunteer activities
of many kinds, helping to raise money for their
individual designated non-profits.They pay no
